Walk around Crummock Water in the Lake District

Описание к видео Walk around Crummock Water in the Lake District

This video shows us on a walk following paths around Crummock Water in the Lake District. Setting off through the wood from the Lanthwaite Wood National Trust car park we turned right at the waters edge and cross footbridges over the river Cocker heading towards the foot of Mellbreak, a Lake District fell. A photo of Mellbreak was used as our thumbnail for this video. Views across the water to Grasmoor and Rannerdale Knots were spectacular and we said hello to a man fishing in a canoe. We stopped for our lunch on a bit of land that juts out into the lake called Low Ling Crag and it was here that we flew the drone to record aerial views of the Buttermere valley. From just after this spot we didn’t film again until we reached the opposite bank near Rannerdale. This is because it was very busy with lots of people enjoying the sunshine at Buttermere. Buttermere is an ideal place to stop for refreshments along this walk. After passing Rannerdale there is another footpath that drops down to the waters edge and into the wood and that is where our video continues. A very enjoyable and easy walk especially in good weather! Hope you enjoy it.
