DIY No-sew Arm Chair Pincushion Tutorial With Renee Romeo

This video tutorial teaches you how to make a no-sew easy chair pincushion. Many people ask if I made the adorable pincushion on my sewing table. While I received this wonderful little pincushion as a gift, it's an easy art and craft project to make on my own.  I am taking it apart and showing you how to recreate this incredibly useful little item. I show you step-by-step how it's done.

This pincushion will keep all your pins and needles compartmentalized, even when you're in a hurry. I use each arm for different size pins. The seat accommodates shorter pins and the back will keep your sewing machine and hand stitching needles separated by a cute little doily. It doesn't require thinking either - you just manage to keep them neatly separated even if you're working quickly on a project. The extra polyester fiberfill batting on the seat and arms makes the grip even tighter on the pins so they don't easily fall out. Can this armchair pincushion get any better? Yes, it does!

I use my hidden compartment for thimble and cloth tape measure storage. This little armchair pincushion makes any sewing project more organized. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. Your arts and crafts space will be kept neat, clean and free of needles and pins on the floor. This is a must for any serious sewer with animals or young children that spend lots of time on the floor. I don't know if this pincushion could save a life but I'm sure it's possible!
