Host and moderator is Tanya Hertz, Director of Entrepreneurship & REC Innovation Lab. Workshop Presenter is Ryan Johnson, M.B.A., REHS, Chief Departmental Operations for San Diego County Dept. of Environmental Health and Quality.

Ryan Johnson has worked for the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health and Quality, Food and Housing Division for over 13 years, and prior to that worked for San Bernardino County in their food program. He started his environmental health career as a temporary summer pool tech, finally working his way up to his current position as a Division Chief. In addition to his Bachelor of Science degree, he also has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist with the State of California.
