We all do it. Any time we meet somebody new, we subconsciously size them up and it happens in less than 3 seconds.
How will you feel when more and more interest mounts in the community about your business?

As customers are looking for businesses that provide the products and services that you provide, you need to ace the subconscious brand scan... and believe me, they're coming in with their skepticism knob turned up to 100!
You will do this by being crystal clear on what you serve, who you serve, and how to you serve them.
Fortunately, passing the subconscious brand scan and knowing how to brand a small business is nothing more than a scientific process. Here it is:
4:00 - Brand Scan Hacking:
Step 1: identify specifically what you offer. And I mean specifically - like "red onion" specific.
Make a detailed list of all of the products and services that you offer, and spare no details on each.
Step 2: identify exactly who you want to do business with. If you want to do do business with everybody, mark it down, you will fall prey to every vampire out there.
Step 3: find out how to serve your prospects. In other words, do some research on Kindle, YouTube, or Google to find out the specific questions your customers are asking.
Link these questions, concerns and pain points to your products and services and show that your offerings address the questions, concerns and pain points that you researched.

In my case, I offer branding advice. For businesses that are desperate for a cohesive marketing plan that actually works, that specifically is how I can help them.
For businesses that are looking for social media marketing guidance, I show them how to set up their profile to get eyeballs, and post to create engagement.
My ideal prospect is a small to medium business owner within a 20 mile radius of Dubuque Iowa who seeks to outsource the management of their marketing.
My ideal prospect is somebody who in many cases would like to learn how to brand a small business themselves, and once they discover how to do it themselves realize how much work it is and will then gladly pay me to do it for them.
The questions, concerns and pain points of my prospects are the following:
I'm way too busy to do social media, but I know I should be doing it - somebody help!
I'm no marketing genius - but I know I need serious marketing help and I'm open to doing it myself.
I do my own social media, but I don't know if I'm doing it right... teach me how to do it better.
