In this video, we have the pleasure of meeting Karen Anders, the proud homeowner of The Trail, a breathtaking new-build residence nestled amidst the vast, active farmlands of rural Oxfordshire.

Inspired by the surrounding corrugated steel and wood farm buildings, The Trail perfectly marries modern design with traditional elements, featuring Catnic Urban steel powder-coated roofing and cladding, complemented by vertical timber boarding.

Karen takes us on a journey through her and her husband Jonathan's adventure—from searching for their dream home in Oxfordshire to collaborating with DP Architects on this remarkable project. Originally planning a renovation of an extended chalet-style bungalow, they soon realized starting fresh was the best route to achieve their vision.

Karen recounts how their extensive research, combined with the architect's expertise, led them to select Catnic Urban for its optimal mix of cost, aesthetics, and availability.

The Trail now boasts a 510 square meter footprint, designed for open-plan living with a kitchen, dining, and living space at its core, and four bedrooms in total.
