Murray Bridge Speedway Upgrade 2024

Описание к видео Murray Bridge Speedway Upgrade 2024

Throughout the off season the Murray Bridge Speedway Club and a bunch of hard-working volunteers have been working overtime in a series of Working Bee's to ensure that the 360-meter track has the latest upgrades which include a new 6-meter-tall fence which is measured from the track to the top of the catch fence. The other major upgrade is the new LED lighting system designed by VAILO.

This is the third major upgrade in the history of the venue since opening in 1958. In 1977 the track had its first major over hall and was increased to 300 meters featuring a dolomite racing surface which was friendly to both bike and car Speedway. At the end of the 1998 season the track was then increased again in length and width to 360 meters and an abundance of Clay was added to the racing surface as the club had then decided to move in a different direction and that it was the right time to attract Sprintcars and other high-profile events such as World Series Sprintcars to the venue. Also, the highly acclaimed Ross Wright Function Center / VIP Club Room.
