Ingredients of Bengali Basanti Pulao:
1. Gobindo Bhog Rice (3 cups)soaked in water for 15 min.
2. Garam masala.
3. Grated ginger (2 tsp).
4. Bay leaves (3-4).
5. Turmeric powder (½ tsp).
6. Salt (as per your taste).
7. Sugar (as per your taste).
8. Refined oil (2 tbsp).
9. Ghee (2tbsp).
10. Garam masala powder (½ tsp).
11. Cashew nuts (¼ cup).
12. Raisins (½ tsp).

Methods of How to make Basanti Pulao:
1. Heat the pan and add 2 tbsp refined oil and 1 tbsp ghee.
2. Add garam masala, and bay leaves. Fry for few sec.
3. Add cashew nuts and raisins. Fry for few sec.
4. Add gobindo bhog rice. Mixed it well.
5. Add 2 tsp grated ginger, ½ tsp turmeric powder. Mixed it well.
6. Fry the rice for 2 min in medium flame.
7. Add 6 cups hot water in it. Mixed it well.
8. Add ½ tsp salt. Mixed it well.
9. Cover it and cook for 10 min in medium flame.
10. After 10 min add 3 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp ghee, and ½ tsp garam masala powder.Mixed it well.
11. Put off gas oven. Cover it for 5 min. Bengali Polao is ready.
12. Serve hot Basanti Polao with hot Niramish Aloor Dum or Chicken kasha.
