Takagi T-KJr2 Tankless Water Heater

Available in natural gas and LP configurations, T-KJr2 units are the smallest water heaters in the Takagi tankless line. These small but powerful units can meet all the hot-water needs of a small home or apartment with one or two bathrooms. The compact, wall mounted T-K Jr. can support hydronic baseboard or radiant floor heating applications, as well as provide domestic hot water to plumbing fixtures and appliances.

Flow rate can reach 6.6 GPM, but depends on incoming water temperature and the required temperature rise of the application. With gas inputs of 19,500 to 140,000 BTUs per hour T-KJr units achieve an Energy Factor rating of 0.82. The units are 20.3" tall and 13.8" wide by 7.8" deep, have electric ignition, and are certified for altitudes up to 6,000 feet above sea level.

With no tank, the wall-hung design can also free up your basement, garage, or utility room for additional storage and versatility. There are many other possible placements such as closets, under stairs and even outdoors if you purchase an OS model and live in a warm climate

Cost-efficient and environmentally friendly, the T-KJr2 indoor models require 4” Category III stainless steel venting and come with a power cord. They can be converted to direct-vent by using the optional TV10 conversion kit for installation in a garage, a utility closet or any confined space in which makeup air may be limited.
