Darlingside gave a lush and tranquil performance at the Gladden House Sessions on Sunday morning, displaying the rich and introspective song craft that has made them a fan-favorite.  David Senft, Auvon Mukharji, Harris Paseltiner, and Don Mitchell performed around a single vocal microphone, allowing the audience to experience the dynamic and organic combination of their serene four-part vocal harmonies.

The quartet formed in 2009 while attending Williams College in Massachusetts and quickly established themselves as a compelling live act. Now, after several critically acclaimed albums and EPs, Darlingside now tours regularly throughout the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe, captivating audiences.

The close friends collaborate on every song together, allowing every musical piece to convey the emblems of four different writing styles and every lyrical stories that incorporate their shared histories. Darlingside continues to explore deep questions in their songs, examining the nature of love and life itself, the modulations of growing up, and the bravery required to face an uncertain world.

Darlingside started their Gladden House performance with “The God of Loss” from their 2015 album, "Birds Say" (More Doug Records), followed by “Heart Again” from their 2019 EP, "Look Up & Fly Away" (More Doug Records/Thirty Tigers), and ended with “Hold Your Head Up High” from their 2017 album, "Extralife." As an encore they performed Neil Young's “Red Sun" off "Silver & Gold" (Reprise Records).
