According to the scriptures, Pind Daan has special significance in Prayagraj, because it is considered a sacred land with drops of nectar.According to Acharya Ambuj Dwivedi, Pind Daan performed here is extremely fruitful. The three major places of Pind Daan include Prayagraj, Varanasi and Gaya, where devotees perform the rituals of Pind Daan.
