Well let me tell you living in Istanbul as an American is completely different to what I expected, all these years I've been wanting to travel to Turkey, but the misconceptions of others were preventing me from coming. Now that I'm here, I truly love it and the best part is trying to speak Turkish as a foreigner.

I obviously have an accent and it takes me longer to understand everything as Turkish is not my native language, but learning it during the lockdown helped so much, because it has ease my stay as I can take care of my basic needs without any issues. That's why if you are thinking about traveling to Turkey, I want to share this useful video to help you understand how to Shop in Turkish.

In addition to it, I happen to be a vegan with food allergies, so I love to share with others tips that can ensure they will have a safe time abroad. Since I went to the market in this vlog, I also wanted to add a quick and easy vegan lunch idea you can make at home, so if you love easy vegan recipes you will enjoy this video.
