RFID Inventory Tracking: Wine Bottle Management

Описание к видео RFID Inventory Tracking: Wine Bottle Management

In this video, we walk through how to use UHF RFID technology to tag wine bottles in a wine collection and then use an RFID reader to locate an individual bottle. This same process can be used for tracking almost any collection of items for an inventory management or asset tracking application.

A unique RFID tag was used in this video because we are tracking liquid-filled items, which normally cause issues with UHF RFID. This Flag Tag however, was made for tracking items that are liquid-filled or metal and uses a 'flag-like' structure in order stick off the bottle to be read without interference. These RFID flag tags have a max read distance of about 10 meters, or 32.8 feet when they are attached to a metal asset or item in an ideal environment. The average read distance for these tags in non-ideal environments will be less, but the specific number depends on the item being tracked, your application, and the environment.

Below are the exact products used in the video. Comment below if you have any questions or tell us what RFID application you would like to see us demonstrate next!
