Menendez brothers’ attorney says new evidence warrants retrial | CUOMO

The attorney who represented Erik and Lyle Menendez in their murder trial has filed paperwork contending there is new evidence that warrants reopening the case and overturning their 1996 life conviction. The brothers said they shot and killed their parents in their Beverly Hills home because they were sexually abused and feared for their lives. Their defense attorney, Mark Geragos, joins “CUOMO” to explain the petition for a retrial.
