Fundamentals 2: RELAXATION for Long Range Shooting taught by Marine Shooting Instructor Andy Slade

Описание к видео Fundamentals 2: RELAXATION for Long Range Shooting taught by Marine Shooting Instructor Andy Slade

In this video we go over our 2nd fundamental of marksmanship, relaxation.

Muscle tension = wobble area. We talk about how using muscles to support your rifle, rather than artificial or bone support, leads to wobble in your reticle and less accuracy down range.

The topics in this video include the difference between relaxed and tense muscles, artificial and bone support, techniques to ensure you're relaxed when long range shooting, and how to practice relaxation before you get behind the gun.

This Brilliant at the Basics series of long-range shooting instructions is here to help you reach your goals. We'll provide someone with little to no shooting instruction and give them the knowledge and tools to reach out to 1000 yards and beyond with their ORYX Sportsmans precision rifle chassis.

Andy Slade is a member of Team MDT, a long-range shooting instructor, and was on the Marine Corps PRS Shooting team.
