Boyce Thompson Arboretum | Plant shop with me!

We're back with part deux of our trip to Boyce Thompson Arboretum. This time I walk you through the arboretum's plant retail area, which features many cactus, succulents, as well as bushes and native plants. I focus only on the cactus and succulents in this video.

As I was editing I realized I was moving a bit too fast through the plants - I would have preferred going slower to show labels and prices but I was racing against the clock as the arboretum was near closing. Hopefully, this video still gives you a rough idea of plant variety and prices. BTA members get 10% off plant purchases.

By the way, you don't have to enter the arboretum to shop for plants, which means no ticket purchase is required if you just want to go through the retail area and gift shop.

The arboretum has two big plant sales each year - one in the spring and one in the fall. The plants sales are super fun and highly recommended. I once saw a Copiapoa haseltoniana on the table but I was too slow to make the move and someone else bought the plant. I still regret it 'til this day. Members get a 20% discount during the plant sale.
