If there is anything that I have learned, it is that a drop shot is an extremely versatile technique at catching bass from 1 foot of water to 60ft of water.

However one of the biggest components of a drop shot that guys don't always put a lot of thought into is the length of their drop shot leaders.

There are days when you fish a drop shot that leader length will make a huge difference so don't get this wrong!
