All I know is this, please make your mental and emotional health your first priority. No one else can do that for you better than you can. It's crazy how much the mental health stigma still exists, and that the conversational barriers around the topic of depression aren't working.

Listen, if you have ever experienced opening up to a family member, close friend, or even your partner about your depression... and they responded with negativity, you are not alone in that. The feeling of being shocked, and completely misunderstood at the same time, you are not alone. The questions that run through your head like, "Why am I like this? Is something wrong with me? Why am I never good enough?", you are not alone.

Right now I am going through a lot of physical and emotional pain. I know I am okay because I'm stronger today than ever before. I just knew it's healthy for me to let this out and express what's on my heart and mind.
