Victors Verses VS League of Legends: Trading Card Confusion

Way back when I first started buying #tradingcards on #aliexpress I kept seeing these listings for League of Legends cards. Knowing how big of a game #leagueoflegends is I was interested. Whenever I'd receive a box though I'd always get something related to a game called "Honor of Kings" or "Victors Verses" - not actually League cards. Now that I do have a real box of League trading cards I figured I'd open the rest of that alongside some of the older non-league sets and try to explain the differences.
