Homeopathy: Effective, Placebo or Dangerous I New Report says "Defund Homeopathy" I Barkha Dutt

Hepatologist Dr. Cyriac Abby Philips has slammed a cough syrup and took a dig at homeopathy medicines through his Tweet, saying they are loaded with at least “40 per cent alcohol”.

"Now Homeopaths would argue, there is no cockroach there because we diluted the life out of it. But then it's just alcohol and ginger for cough? Does that make any sense? Remind me why people love Homeopathy. Why is this absolute nonsense disguised as medicine existing?" he tweeted, suggesting they also contain parts of dead cockroach.

In another tweet, he argued why Homeopathy needs to be defunded from the public healthcare system and Homeopathic formulation taken off shelves.
