Based on solutions provided by @ProSimRacer (   • Playseat Challenge Mods: Trying to re...  ) and @DabinHuang (   • Playseat Challenge wheel plate enhanc...  ).

Required Tools
1 x 11" camera magic arm (£12 - e.g. https://bit.ly/38H3BvN)
1 x stepped drill bit (e.g. £12 https://bit.ly/2Zc1hKm)
1 x power drill (anything will do - just use it on the slow speed)
1 x aluminium plate (just buy a small plate which is big enough - only a few £)

I think this is the best version I've seen for the solution as it's convenient and stays in position as you need.
