The formula for CASTER is:

caster (deg) = (180 / 3.1415) * [(camber1 - camber2) / (turnangle1 - turnangle2)]

To measure the left front, first turn the wheels to the left. Zero the gauge, then turn the wheels to the right to get the camber change.

For a 40 deg change in turn angle,

caster = (180 / 3.14) * (camber1-camber2) / 40 = 1.43 * (camber1-camber2)

1.43 is usually rounded up to 1.5

so, caster = 1.5 * (camber1-camber2)

For a 60 deg change in turn angle,

caster = 0.96 * (camber1-camber2)

0.96 is usually rounded up to 1

so, caster = (camber1-camber2)
