Dai-Sifu Emin Boztepe, EBMAS Twin Cities Wing Tzun Seminar, April 6th of 2013.

Dai-Sifu Emin Boztepe visited Minnesota (for the 2nd time in 4 months!) to teach a 2-day seminar on EBMAS Wing Tzun. We covered an absolute ton of material on this day of filming-- Jap-Gurk/Bong-Gurk applications (and at least 50 repetitions of each drill), Chi-Sao and Lat-Sao applications and techniques, general striking, punches, kicks, and footwork, theory questions, practical applications of Wing Tzun for self-defense, and so much more.

I was only able to film about 25 minutes from the entire 4 hour seminar because I was so busy participating in the exercises and drills; this was an absolutely amazing event, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to train with (and document!) such a talented, wise, thoughtful, and patient teacher-- EMIN BOZTEPE!

Definitions of Chi-Sao/Chi-Gerk:

Chi-Gerk - a sensitivity drill for footwork training and leg attacks - is not as soft and flexible as Chi-Sao, but the sensitivity concept is still to be stressed, as are the rules and laws of the hand movements.

Chi Sao- "Sticking hands." An exercise used in Wing Chun kung fu that develops sensitivity to the hands and arms.
