Taking in the Sights - 100 to Memhardstrasse | Berlin | The Bus

Hello, and welcome back to The Bus!

Still sticking with the vanilla game for this week, as we check out Berlin's route 100 - offering us a quick tour of Berlin's many attractions, from the Victory Column and the Reichstag to of course the iconic Brandenburg Gate. The route is fairly easy to drive save for some tighter bits and roadworks to negotiate your way around, and the only real challenge is to keep up with the timetable amidst Berlin's rush hour traffic - a challenge I fail miserably.

For such a scenic route a double decker is a must. We take a look at the MAN Lions City DD, both decks lined with huge window panels for maximum visibility. The sounds leave much to be desired (at least to my novice non-Berliner ears), but its physics and handling do demonstrate some improvement from the the OG Scania Citywides. Overall, this hulking behemoth of a bus remains quite pleasant to drive.
