Heading back out of the Florida Keys, I explore around the key I camped on, then head north, stopping at the Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park.

I was once again trying to find Key Deer on my bicycle. I didn't find near as many as the previous day but the ones I found were adorable. The highlight of the morning bike ride was a raccoon licking Seagrape leaves. Wasn't expecting to see that! It was likely trying to get fresh water in the form of dew. Most of the water would be salty around this location.
I also really enjoyed filming a spider crab behind my campsite. Did I mention how amazing this campground is?!

My next stop was a small state park where I found more interesting animals. There were more crabs, and fish, and lizards to film there. The back half of the trail I hiked was under water. Always an adventure. I should add that the interior of this park had some major mosquitos. Beware of bugs!

All in all it made for a nice day in South Florida. Of course I filmed whatever birds I found throughout the day. Keeping up my amatuer birder status. lol
