SOLVING THE ROTOR PUZZLE

Today we're attempting to solve the Hanayama Rotor puzzle.

The Huzzle cast Rotor is also a level 6 (out of a possible 6) on the Hanayama difficulty scale.

So essentially, today is probably going to be a long day... Previous level 6 puzzles have taken me 3 hours to disassemble and another 3 hours to reassemble if that's anything to go by.

As always though, the aim is to disassemble the two rotor pieces and then reassemble them back in to their original position.

If we manage to do that, we'll then place the Rotor puzzle on my own difficulty leaderboard of puzzles I've done so far.

Could the Rotor replace the Hourglass as the King of the Hanayama puzzles?
