The TRUE Project is a three-day virtual event commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Co-founded by disability rights advocates, Mary Fashik and Oaklee Thiele, this program provides a widespread and public platform where disabled writers, artists, speakers, and creators can not only be recognized but celebrated in a safe space. Airing from July 24 through July 26, 2020, all live and pre-recorded programming produced by the TRUE Project will be entirely free to the public and will include live ASL interpretation and closed captioning.
