The Lion King 2 has a HUGE secret Disney has been hiding for years! I found actual storyboards showing Kiara had a TWIN that was completely removed from the final movie. This darker-furred cub appears in multiple scenes with Simba and Nala but mysteriously vanished before release.

When you look at these storyboards from 1997, you can see TWO cubs in scenes that only show Kiara in the final movie. The second cub has darker fur and markings similar to Kovu's! This explains why Simba is so overprotective and why Kiara feels like "a part of me is missing" - because Disney cut her twin from the story!

There's so much evidence hidden in plain sight - Zira's confusion when meeting Kiara, Simba's haunted expression when he says "we are one," and the strange shadows during certain scenes. This isn't just a fan theory - the storyboards PROVE this character existed!
