H. Richard Milner, IV on "Five Educational Imperatives for Justice"

On November 8, 2018, the UC Davis School of Education's Transformative Justice in Education (TJE) Center and the Graduate Group in Education hosted Dr. H. Richard Milner, IV at UC Davis for his talk, "Five Educational Imperatives for Justice."

H. Richard Milner, IV is currently the Cornelius Vanderbilt Endowed Chair of Education and Professor of Education in the Department of Teaching and Learning at Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. His research, teaching and policy interests concern urban education, teacher education, African American literature and the social context of education. In particular, his research examines practices and policies that support teacher effectiveness in urban schools.
