Dr. Dre Closes Out Divorce By Paying $100M To Ex-Wife

Dr. Dre’s strenuous divorce case has finally come to a close. According to TMZ, Dre and his ex-wife Nicole Young have come to a property settlement agreement where the West Coast Hip Hop legend will pay Young $100 million. Nicole Young and Dr. Dre tied the knot in 1996 and she officially filed for divorce from the Beats By Dre mogul after 24 years in June 2020. While Dr. Dre’s net worth is estimated to be around $820 million, Young was only awarded $100 million because of a prenup which she contested throughout the divorce proceedings.
