The Power of Beautiful Orchestral and Choral Music—
Beautiful music is known to be incredibly relaxing. Orchestral music, in particular, can evoke positive emotions, feelings of calm, and happiness. Whether you prefer orchestral music with or without a choir, research shows it's one of the best music for relieving anxiety, for happiness, and for helping you fall asleep better, even faster. Many people listen to classical orchestral music primarily for relaxation, but it has many other benefits and is incredibly enjoyable to listen to, especially when the composition, arrangement, or performance is exceptional. I've always loved the music of large orchestras. However, when it comes to my music listening, orchestral choral music, or more precisely, orchestral and choral music, along with film scores, movie scores, or cinematic music, easily becomes my second favorite. Beautiful classical and even modern music is first and foremost music that benefits mental health and a joyful soul.

A little about me—I originally majored in clarinet playing before switching to music composition. For many years, I've worked with excellent teachers of harmony, theory, and composition. Besides the clarinet, I also play piano and an EWI (an Akai-made electronic wind instrument that I frequently use for recording). I currently live in Orange County, California, about an hour south of Los Angeles. 📝

🎵 Audio | I record all my music using Logic Pro X and various software sound samples from it. The orchestral string samples you might hear are primarily recorded with Samplemodeling Strings—by far my favorite sample library. Many of the natural background sounds you hear were recorded with the small microphone on my phone; Californian native sounds, especially the ocean audio files I recorded at Laguna Beach. ☀️🌊

🎬 Video | Some of the nature footage was shot on my iPhone, and some is from royalty-free stock footage libraries from Canva, Pexels, and Pixabay. Many of my own video clips were shot in Southern California. I did all the video editing myself in iMovie, Canva, and Logic Pro X.
