00:00 Intro | Welcome to our channel! This is a short presentation of an advanced exercise performed and executed by Thomas to improve fast close attacks using your forehand all around the table. Variation is critical when performing this exercise and should be applied in all the areas of the table cross-court or parallel.
00:24 Also remember that if you are about to compete in big venues the ball will be coming much more slowly than now! This means that it will be far easier to attack fast, as long as you wait a little bit. Don't rush in larger areas! If you want to improve the Chinese way of attacking close to the table for the new generation of table tennis you must perform this exercise using a robot machine.
00:44 Mobility is necessary for this advanced technique! To achieve mobility you have to perform various fitness exercises and agility ladder drills for table tennis very often. The frequency and speed of the robot must be at max speed. Bear in mind that this movement is different than the one you perform when you are mid-distance and have more time.
