What do you do when your daughter wants to go on a hike for her birthday 🥳?!? You GO! Amaia really wanted to spend her birthday in the mountains ⛰️ this year. We had six days to drive from Florida ☀️ to our home state of Iowa 🌽 for a funeral, and Chattanooga, TN was a perfect 👌 stopping point on our way back.

Amaia picked a waterfall 💧 hike for her birthday 🥳 that included two waterfalls, a lake, and a swinging bridge! The hike is called Rainbow 🌈 Falls on All Trails and it’s rated as HARD. Don’t let that scare you! There is some elevation and climbing over rocks 🪨 but it was a family friendly hike with amazing views 🤩. The hardest part is getting down to the base of the waterfall, but there are ropes 🪢 to help you down…which is also kinda fun.
