We LOVE a good lake day and when summer is over… this may be what we miss most.

🛶 Trillium Lake and Timothy Lake
These are both located near Mount Hood and are super easy lakes to get to as you can park at them and they are only an hour to an hour and a half from Portland. These lakes also offer SUP and kayak rentals right on the shoreline.

🐟 Clear Lake
This place is literally out of a dream - we have not seen water this blue! This lake is towards Central Oregon. You can also rent boats from the dock here.

🥾 Green Lakes
This is our favorite lake to hike to in Oregon! These are located in Central Oregon, a permit is needed to visit but if you can plan ahead, these lakes are SO worth it!

📍Crater Lake
This will be the most unique lake you ever visit. If you go in the summer you can swim in the lake if you have down the Cleetwood Cove Trail. If you don’t feel like hiking, drive the Rim Road to see the lake!

🚤 Wallowa Lake
Not a lot of people make the trek to Eastern Oregon.. but if you do.. you will find this beautiful lake with super clear water and unreal mountains surrounding it. No hiking required to see this spot!

🌅 Sparks Lake
If you are a sunrise person, this is a lake you want to visit! Sunrise here is stunning and this is another easy drive up lake that does not require hiking.

When we have a lake day, we try to pack a picnic and spend the day out on the water in a kayak or on a SUP. We loveeeee our food containers for these days as they make packing food super easy and each container has utensil kits that pack away with the food making eating convenient when outdoors.
