In this video ex international Scrum Half and RFU Level 3 Rugby coach Ryan demonstrates where the sweet spot is on the rugby ball to kick for height and distance. He talks again about foot to ball and the height at which the ball should drop to allow the rugby ball to travel vertically up. whilst there are lots of different styles of kicking, this is what has worked for Ryan and what he coaches. But ensure that you are comfortable when kicking.
