In this Aliens Dark Descent Death Clock Update August 2023 video, I talk about what the August game update provided and whether it solved the frustrating Death Clock that has frustrated many players.

In Aliens Dark Descent there is a death clock which will end your gameplay early if you fail to complete all missions in an alloted time. The Death Clock is shorter on higher difficulties and it's hard to guage how much time you have left as the amount of missions isn't clear whilst in game. To be clear, there are 13 missions to complete including the prologue.

In the recent update you can disable the death clock on new games, but sadly not in an existing game. I show both scenarios in the game. I hope the developers will add a toggle for existing games too. I don't get why they haven't.
