Ghosts'n Goblins: Tips'n Tricks'n Glitches (world version 1)

Ghosts'n Goblins is labelled as one of the toughest arcade games ever made. As it's my favourite game, I thought I would share some tips and tricks to help you get further into the game. There are also some glitches within the game that you can make use of to progress.

Ultimately the dipswitch settings on the game should be set so that you only receive free lives at 20k and 70k (or 80k) and no more free lives after that (the default is to receive free lives every 70k). This is to avoid ridiculous scores being submitted as high scores by only reaching stage 3 of the game!
