On this edition of “Inside the HEAT- Max Strus” we learn about this second year sharp shooter and his journey to Miami. Hosted by Jason Jackson, we will meet Max’s family as they tell us about his childhood, growing up in Chicago, and how sports played a role in his upbringing. We learn about how basketball became his number one passion in high school and how that led him to college basketball. Max tells us the story about how he began in a division II school and then decided to go to DePaul, where in fact, his mother in the hall of fame for volleyball. His journey continues as he was undrafted, but then played in Boston for summer league and then his hometown Chicago Bulls on a two way contract. All of this lead up to him making his way to Miami to play for an organization that lines up with everything he values. Through his hard work and determination, Max has become a household name for HEAT Nation and is proving to be a valuable piece to this roster.
