Welcome to Season 4 of FTB Film Study! For starters, Coach Codutti examines the strides made by Penn State running back Nicholas Singleton during his Freshman All-American campaign. Coming from a triple-option high school offense, Singleton navigated a sharp learning curve quickly and by mid-season showed the patience and understanding to operate in the Nittany Lions' zone-heavy run scheme. As Codutti illustrates, Singleton's comfort in this system, elite vision, ability to set up blockers, and unrivaled speed should set him up to have a monster sophomore season.
