It wasn't until recently that I heard of and played Nier Automata and it quickly became one of my favorite games of all time. The story, lore, and themes are so rich and brilliantly done. This quest-line and its themes spoke to me the most. As I dug deeper into Jean-Paul and Simone and their real life counterparts, I gained a deeper appreciation for the narrative and themes of this part of the game.
