Packrafting and Camping in Sweden - Campfire Cooking - MRS Microraft

A greener and more beautiful paddling trip on Rönne Å (in south of Sweden) is probably hard to come by. It's early June and early summer is here to stay and me and an acquaintance decided do a packrafting and camping trip in south of Sweden. We paddled a popular part of the river (starting at Stockamöllan) but managed to find a few days when no other people were here so we had the river all to ourselves.

The surroundings were adorably beautiful. We slowly glided along the river enchanted by the beauty of nature. We were surrounded by dragonflies in abundance, chirping birds, dense greenery and the sun offered just the right amount of heat and light.

We found a nice camp site for the night. After we set up our tents it was time for some cooking by the campfire. I took the opportunity to light the fire in the more traditional way with flint and steel. Both the gnat and the mosquito stayed away this lovely evening which added extra peacefulness and rest by the campfire.
