Do you want to know how the Stampin Cut and Emboss Machine from Stampin Up compares to the Big Shot, our previous die cutting and embossing machine? In this video, I'll compare features, size, and performance of the two machines to help you determine if you want to add the new machine to your craft collection or possibly replace your Big Shot or other die cutting machine.

The function of these machines is the same, but there are many differences. They include appearance, folding vs. non-folding sides, and the plate numbering system for ease of use.

The size of the machines is different as well. The Cut and Emboss Machine is just slightly larger when open, but much smaller when the sides are folded closed. Other measurements of interest that differ include the inner clearance width and the length of the front platform. I'll explain why these measurements matter and which I prefer.
