Trek to Chandrashila Peak | Trekking, Snow, and Sunrise Over the Himalayas

Join us on our adventurous trip from IVRI to the majestic Chandrashila Peak! We began our journey by rickshaw to Bareilly Junction, then took a train to Haridwar, arriving at 3:00 AM. After catching an early morning bus, we reached Kund by 11:00 AM and waited for a ride to Chopta. Despite our plans to camp at Tungnath, restrictions kept us at the Chopta base camp for the night.

Undeterred, we started our trek at 2:30 AM, navigating through snow and black ice with just our mobile torches. After a challenging 6-hour hike, we were rewarded with breathtaking views of the sunrise over the Himalayas at Chandrashila Peak. We spent time soaking in the beauty, capturing photos and videos, and enjoying a hot meal of Maggi with an incredible view. Afterward, we had a blast sliding down the snow on our way back to base camp before heading back to college. Watch our full adventure and experience the thrill of trekking in the Himalayas!
