Our main kitchen tap in the cabin is connected to rainwater. So we installed a second one for drinking and cooking. It's cheap, battery-powered an so easy to install. Don't you just love easy fixes in the home?

Here are the main steps from the video:
1) Trace with a pencil and measure. Carefully measure the distance to the center.
2) Make sure an outlet is close enough - for charging the tap.
3) Use a food-grade hose, safe for drinking and cooking.
4) Use a drill bit the same thickness as the hose.
5) Drill the hole on the previously marked spot.
6) Measure the hose and cut it to the right length.
7) Clean the hose in warm water with baking soda. And let it sit for about 10 minutes.
8) Pass the hose through the hole and attach it to the tap.
9) Use some double-sided tape to partially fix it in place.
10) Apply clear silicone for a stronger hold. Clean the excess for a better look.
11) Drill the same size hole in the cap of the water container and feed the hose through.
Use this same cap when replacing the water bottle. No need to drill others.

And that's it! Easy.
