BEAST Class Maiden - 10 inch FPV Freestyle - BrotherHobby 3115 1050kv

Whagwarn peeps? Sorry for the delay since my last upload, just been super busy with my day job and working on things not ready to show yet.

So for the last few months I have been working on this beast class setup. I was asked to design a frame that runs 10 inch props carries a Red Komodo or similar large cinematic camera. The plan was to try and create something that didn't struggle to carry the extra weight and has as close to 5 inch performance as possible. From my experience I felt that we needed a wide main body to better support the camera on top, and space on the bottom to run 2 big packs to allow us to run any voltage with the plan for me to make a 6s and my sponsored pilot to build a 12s version :) By keeping the lipos under the pops and the camera above, I hoped to have good CofG to aid with perfomance. There is no getting round the fact it is huge and will never be as agile as a 5 inch, the major lack of props in this class will also be the akiles heel. 5 inch flies so good because of the props and over development of everything in this class. Impressed to see how well it did with zero tuning, no desyncs, no weidness. Going to be fun to push this as far as I can. Next test will be with an extra 1.5kg payload strapped to the top and to try the other props I have as well as 2 x 1800mah packs
