Corelli's Double Cadence - Patterns, Partimento and more

As this video contains really a lot of different stuff I’m gonna give a short overview of what you can expect: After I rambled a bit on the differences between Corelli and the designated counterpoint overlord I’m gonna draw some cadence patterns from a slow mvt. by Corelli, explain how to conceptualize and practice those and finally how to detect and apply those patterns in three original Partimenti. I will show an attempt of me drawing a figuration prelude from Corelli’s original bass and eventually close the video with a more general reflection on a baroque concept of tonality.
