Barbara Derrick is a certified John Maxwell Coach, Trainer, and Speaker, as well as a Native Cultural Art Instructor, Adult Learning Educator, and Native Social Development Worker. She has been honored with the 'International Literary Award' by The Professional Woman Network. As an accomplished educating artist, Barbara has co-authored and written several books, including 'Walking In Your Power: Lessons from the Grandmothers.' She secured an Artist in Residency with 1,500 Catholic schools and completed a commissioned painting collaboration with another artist for BC Telus in 2022, with her art featured on a corporate office banner and a vehicle. Barbara also delivers cultural reconciliation sessions to corporations, colleges, schools, and companies in Edmonton and the surrounding area. Lastly, her branding, 'More Than Just Paint...,' encapsulates her commitment to creating transformative experiences through art.
