Описание к видео Green Roads Series - Public Transportation Innovations and Adaptation Planning for Climate Change

In response to challenges such as declining ridership, particularly exacerbated by the #COVID19 pandemic, and driven by technological advancements, public transportation agencies have implemented various innovations to revitalize the #transit industry. This presentation, held last 13 August 2024, examined the impact of these innovations on the industry and its customers, focusing on three distinct cases in Florida: (1) the integration of transit services and Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) in Pinellas County, (2) the implementation of ride-hailing services in downtown Tampa, and (3) the introduction of Automated Shuttle Services in Lake Nona.

Similarly, in response to sea level rise and storm surges, a variety of adaptation measures have been implemented in Florida. The webinar also highlighted specific policies, measures, their effects, and concerns regarding equity and long-term resilience.
