Confronting Nigeria’s Affordable Healthcare Dilemma

Nigeria is the most populous black nation on the planet with an estimated population of over 200 million people expected to double over the next 25 years, making it the third most populous country in the world by 2050.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends a ratio of at least one doctor to a population of 600 people. The ratio in Nigeria is approximately 1 in 6000!

A solution is urgently needed to provide that comprehensive range of robust healthcare services that Nigerians so desperately need; services that are affordable, world-class, and accessible at the point of need.
