Описание к видео Blackpool Transport Buses: Last Day of Operation on Services 74 and 75 on Saturday 17th August 2024

For more than four years, Blackpool Transport Services Limited has operated Lancashire County Council's services 74 and 75 between Fleetwood and Preston via the Rural Fylde Villages.
The services started on Sunday 19th July 2020 with a dedicated batch of brand new ADL E200MMC long single deck buses.
It soon became apparent that their long length was not suitable for the rural villages and they were swapped to the shorter versions that were also in the fleet. The peak vehicle requirement is 8 buses.
Saturday 17th August 2024 is the last day of operation as Blackpool Transport has surrendered the contract to concentrate on running on the Fylde Coast due to driver shortages.
The contract is taken over by Archway Travel of Fleetwood which has purchased brand new ADL E200MMCs to operate the services, with a peak vehicle requirement of 8 buses.
Videos and photographs taken in Preston and some of the material around the Fylde Coast date from some weeks ago during the notice period but videos and
photographs taken on Saturday 17th August 2024 include all eight of the peak vehicle requirement which were:
