I bought a medium format film camera, the Fuji GSW690, a few months ago and this is the first time I load it with film and take it out to shoot. I am very unsure of myself as it does not have an internal light meter. I have had a Sekonic light meter for several years and have never even taken it out of the box. I watched a couple Youtube videos on how to use a light meter and then took it out to try. To build my confidence I brought my Fuji XT-4 mirrorless digital camera and set it to manual. Then I put the settings into the XT-4 from the Sekonic light meter to test the waters. At the end I compare two photos, one from each camera. I used Kodak Portra 400 as my film stock. I believe the image over all, is sharper and better from the GSW690. Might just be luck, however. I think I will do a part 2 series where I take the rest of the roll of Portra 400 and compare against the Fuji XT-4 using the same metering process. I welcome comments and suggestions but please be kind as I am kind of new to this game. Thanks for watching
